Formation Revit Architecture — Advanced
Design options, phases, parametric families and schedules to industrialise your BIM projects
This 5-day advanced course is aimed at architects and interior architects already familiar with Revit who want to move beyond basic modelling and use the features that genuinely save time on a project: design options to compare concepts, phasing to handle existing and proposed states, automated area and volume calculation, reusable parametric families, and self-updating schedules and title blocks. You leave with a structured working method and templates you can reuse directly on your own projects.

Course objectives
Set up a complete design option set: establish the base model, create primary and secondary options, duplicate views and accept a final option
Structure a project by phases: create phases, assign elements, configure phase filters and graphic overrides
Use rooms to automate volume and area calculation, and configure their properties
Produce colour legends and area plans usable in design meetings
Create custom materials and master the priority order of wall layers at junctions
Model in-place masses and in-place families suited to specific geometries
Design parametric families and drive a project through project parameters, global parameters and shared parameters
Build a dynamic title block and family and material schedules that update automatically
Produce construction details and manage scope boxes for sheet layout
Detailed program (8 modules)
Refresher on software fundamentals, revision cloud management and setting up annotative tags across views.
