Course objectives

Master the MCP spec: resources, tools, prompts, sampling
Build a production-ready MCP server in TypeScript and Python
Secure an MCP server with OAuth 2.1 and granular scopes
Implement advanced transports: stdio, SSE, HTTP streaming
Test, observe, and deploy an MCP server to the cloud
Integrate an MCP server with Claude Desktop, Claude Code, Cursor, and IDEs

Detailed program (10 modules)

Understand the host-server-client architecture, primitives (resources, tools, prompts), and session lifecycle. Differences between local MCP (stdio) and remote (HTTP/SSE). Workshop: read the official spec and trace a complete session.
